Neither Kyrie Irving nor Landry Shamet will travel with the Nets on their three-game road trip to Portland, Utah and Detroit, ESPN reports Cheap Kyrie Irving Jersey in separate news stories.

While Shamet’s absence is not a surprise after he sprained his ankle vs. Washington Sunday night, Irving’s is. The Nets cited a “family matter,’ not providing Cheap Kevin Durant Jersey details. Mallika Andrews was first to report the news.

Irving, of course, missed eight games early in the season Cheap Brooklyn Nets Jerseys to deal with “personal” issues. In that case, the absence was unauthorized and resulted in a fine. This appears different.

While Shamet won’t be traveling either, an MRI of his ankle was “clean,” Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted earlier Monday. That would suggest there’s no soft tissue damage and that the injury can be handled with Cheap Landry Shamet Jersey therapy rather than surgery.

There’s no word yet on when Kevin Durant will return from his lingering hamstring issue. He was seen shooting around before the Magic game in Orlando Friday but not prior to the Wizards game in Brooklyn Sunday.

What better place to showcase Cheap Alize Johnson Jersey his gifts team

Maybe Brooklyn’s big trade deadline acquisition was a journeyman picked up not in some deal involving players and picks, but fresh out of the G League.

The Nets had been circling the wagons since the All-Star break, filling roster spots with vets who hadn’t played in a year, kids trying to make a Custom Brooklyn Nets Jerseys mark on 10-days. Five in all between the James Harden trade and this week.

Then, with a need to fill an open spot on the roster by March 22, Sean Marks decided it was time to strike one (maybe) final 10-day Cheap Chris Chiozza Jersey deal with an Tristan Jass Jersey enticing two-way forward from the G League: Alize “Zay” Johnson. According to George Langberg, Johnson’s agent, those talks intensified on March 21 when Marks reached out to him directly.

“This was good timing,” Langberg told NetsDaily. “To bring him aboard Cheap Tyler Johnson Jersey and see what they could do with him.”

Shortly after, Langberg reached out to Johnson to share the big news, who was staying in his Williamsburg, Pennsylvania home, a home he had bought for his mother just in the last year.

“I called Alize and I said, ‘How would you like to be a Brooklyn Net?’” explained Langberg. “Obviously his reaction was, ‘are you serious?’”

Langberg said the news, delivered at 1 a.m. EST, caught Johnson off-guard. “He thought I was (screwing) Cheap James Harden Jersey with him,” explained Langberg. Once things settled in, Alize and his family celebrated the news. Johnson was waiting for an opportunity like this to “show he belonged,” as Alize put it on Wednesday night. What better place to showcase his gifts than with a team that many have penciled into the NBA Finals.

The next 24 hours for Johnson were a wild ride. On Monday, he took a car to Brooklyn to get his physical done. The next day, Johnson was on Cheap Alize Johnson Jersey a flight to Utah to make his Nets debut. By Wednesday night, he had made his presence known to the NBA at large while clad in white-and-black threads.

Alize jumped, quite literally, off the page in his debut against the Utah Jazz. A non-stop grinder with a nose for the ball and an insatiable appetite to win, Johnson cleaned the glass with astounding proficiency to the tune of 15 boards in 33 minutes … one of which was over the NBA’s second-leading board man, Rudy Gobert. Take a look in the video below.

Johnson also flashed strong isolation defense instincts, matching up with Donovan Mitchell on 4.4 partial possessions, per NBA stats. In the middle of the third, he shadowed Mitchell’s footwork on the dynastic Utah guard’s step-back, keeping his hands down to avoid Mitchell’s rip-through move, shown in the video below. The shot went in, sure, but Mitchell didn’t call “bank.” So, does it really count?

Johnson’s got a little bit of a wiggle to his game, allowing him to parlay his springy boards into transition possessions by pushing the pace himself. No reason to wait around for Chris Chiozza or Tyler Johnson to lead the break when Johnson can whip out effortless carry-over moves into reverse finishes.

He’s also got himself a nifty push-shot, which he can launch from all directions and distances to the same satisfying results. You’ll see it in the video below; he muscles and prods his way into a tenacious box-out, grabs the rebound with Cheap LaMarcus Aldridge Jersey one hand, and then spins his way into a fall-away scoop shot with the grace and confidence of a young player who just passed his first test in Brooklyn with flying colors.

“He was great,” Nash said after Johnson’s debut in Utah. “Stuffed the stat sheet, played good defense and gave us tons of energy. I don’t think he’s really played since the G League “bubble” (which ended three weeks ago). So, heck of an effort from him. Proud of the way he played.”

What happens next for Alize is up in the air, though there is reason to be hopeful. The trade deadline proved to be quieter for Brooklyn than some expected, but the Nets are still sitting pretty with two open roster spots and two $5.7 million exceptions. The buyout market is expected to be robust, featuring the likes of Andre Drummond, LaMarcus Aldridge, and quite possibly names like Otto Porter Jr., Gorgui Dieng, and Avery Bradley. Johnson’s future as a Net may hinge on Brooklyn’s performance among the buyout options.

“The Nets wouldn’t rule it out,” said Langberg of Johnson securing a deal that extends beyond the current 10-day deal.

Regardless, don’t expect the situation to affect Johnson’s performance on the hardwood. He’s been counted out his whole life, a junior college product who sprouted from 5’7 in high-school to 6’8 currently. The 24-year-old exists with a perpetual chip on his shoulder. He played 31 games for the Pacers over the last two years but spent most of his time in the G League, leading in rebounds and offensive efficiency this season.

“He’s a guy that controls what he can control and takes it day-by-day,” said Langberg. “And makes the most of every opportunity he gets.”

(League sources indicate to NetsDaily that Alize Johnson is two-way contract eligible due to new league rules allowing two-way deals to be struck at any time. This was not discussed with Langberg.)

Post game, Johnson talked about his priorities.

“Just prove to everybody that I belong here in the NBA and I’ve put in a lot of hard work and I’m going to continue to just keep working and be the best player I can be,” he said, adding, “I’m just taking it day-by-day, trying not to think about that. Every time I get out there on the floor and get an opportunity, I try to play like it’s my last game. That’s just how I’m approaching this thing, and everything else will kind of take care of itself.”

With 23 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals against the best team in the NBA, it’s safe to say Johnson is doing exactly that in Brooklyn.

and having teammates Jeremiah Martin Jersey like that really

The Long Island Nets won their second straight game Wednesday, this time downing the Agua Caliente Clippers, 101-94. Their record has now improved to 4-5, with six games to play in the shortened season. They’re only a game removed Cheap Brooklyn Nets Jerseys from the eighth seed and a ticket to the playoffs.

Wednesday was an all-around performance from the Nets roster. Jeremiah Martin had his fourth straight 20-point game. He also had three assists and three steals to along with 22 points. The 6’2”point guard Cheap Jeremiah Martin Jersey leads the G League in steals per game with 2.9 per contest, but continued his 3-point shooting woes, going 1-of-5. Martin is now shooting 15.4 percent from deep while averaging 19 points per game.

Here are his highlights from tonight…

Nets two-way center Reggie Perry had 16 points of his own, as well as five rebounds. He led the Nets in plus-minus as well, with the Cheap Jordan Bowden Jersey team outsourcing the opponent by 17 points during his minutes. Perry once again shot well, going 6-of-8 overall and 2-of-4 from deep. Perry is shooting 56.8 percent overall and 42.1 percent from deep. He’s averaging 18.6 points and 8.4 rebounds.

The game’s standout performer, however, was undoubtedly Nate Sestina. Sestina, a 6’9” stretch 4, joined the Nets in training camp and was sent Cheap Reggie Perry Jersey Long Island in the G League after being cut by the big club. He had 17 points in 17 minutes, shooting 5-for-12 from three. Sestina, who played last year under John Calipari at Kentucky last season, commented on his performance post-game:

“[My teammates] believe in me. They have the ultimate confidence in me, and my ability to shoot the ball, and having teammates Cheap Nate Sestina Jersey like that really helps my confidence out a lot,” said Sestine. “The past couple games they had been telling me to shoot it, shoot it, shoot it, and I hadn’t been.”

After trailing for the majority of the first half, the Nets were able to get within one possession late in the second quarter, ultimately only trailing by two at halftime. In the third quarter, Long Island came storming out of the gates with a 13-0 run, quickly pushing the lead to double digits. Head Coach Bret Brielmaier talked about his team’s energy to start the second half:

“A couple of small adjustments, but at the end of the day, it was the guys really just turning up their intensity and their physicality. We continue to challenge them to play with that type of force, and you see the outcome when we do. Again, really proud of the guys for the way they defended tonight.”

Brielmaier trusted the bench unit deep into the fourth quarter, and they held a solid lead – around seven points before the starters checked backed in as the Clippers made a late run. A pair of free throws from Martin with 1:36 left in the game put the Nets ahead 101-90 and sealed the Nets’ second straight victory by an ultimate final score of 101-94.

“Our bench is such a life-line for us, they bring such energy, whether it’s C.J. Massinburg getting a rebound or loose ball, Jordan Bowden’s defensive intensity, you saw Nate [Sestina] shoot the basketball today, and then Elie [Okobo]’s ability to distribute and run the team, and Tariq [Owens], who’s normally with that group as well. They just play with incredible energy and spirit, and it’s a pleasure to have a group that plays that hard and that together.”

As for the Clippers, point guard Jordan Ford was electric in the first quarter, but had cooled down for the rest of the night. He finished with 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting. Former Los Angeles Clipper Tyrone Wallace added 20 points.

The Long Island Nets will play next against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. The game will tip off at 3:30pm. ET and be broadcast on ESPN+.

Meanwhile, elsewhere at Walt Disney World, the Iowa Wolves were bidding farewell to their top player, Tyler Cook, who’s headed to Brooklyn on a 10-day.
